Introduction to PathoDB

PathoDB is a database on pathological forms of eukaryotic cis-acting regulatory DNA elements and trans-acting factors. It was developed as an extension of the database TRANSFAC, which provides data on the corresponding wildtype DNA elements and factors. In the current status, human regulatory elements are the main concern, and additionally some regulatory elements of mice.
